The Storm. By Norm proudly endorses Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid to become the next President of the United States!
This prestigious, highly coveted endorsement is the result of approximately two seconds of painstakingly deep research and thought. Wait - two seconds for such an important decision? Well, given that her felonious opponent already had four years in the White House and is still the least qualified person on the face of the Earth for the job, how much painstakingly deep research and thought is needed to endorse Kamala Harris? Two seconds were two seconds more than was required.
I mean, come on. What kind of idiot would vote for her addlebrained, degenerate, convicted felon opponent? I am on record as saying I would vote for a wet sack of garbage before I would vote for the Regressive Party candidate. I also said I would vote for an ill-tempered, foul-smelling, junkyard dog instead of him. I have professed my profound hatrid of him. So, it probably comes as no surprise that he does not get an endorsement from The Storm. By Norm.
But, it is important to note there are reasons to vote for Kamala Harris, which sometimes gets lost in all the vitriolic name calling and the complete, total, absolute disgust normal people feel for her convicted felon opponent. So, what follows are a few positive reasons to vote for the next President of the United States, Kamala Harris.
Her Middle Class Upbringing.
I appreciate that Kamala Harris experienced a middle class upbringing. I’m sure that she and her family live quite a comfortable life now, but she knows what it is like to not live a life of privilege. I believe this gives her a unique perspective on the challenges and hardships faced by those of us in the middle and lower economic classes. She was not born with a silver spoon up her ass, unlike, well, you know who.
She is an HBCU Graduate.
Kamala Harris graduated from an historic black university in Washington DC - Howard University. We’ve never had a president who attended an Historically Black College or University. It’s 2024, for crying out loud. Isn’t it way past time to have a president with this background? Not because it would be politically correct, but because there are intelligent, qualified people from those schools who have been ignored, and belittled, for too long. It benefits America to widen the pool from which we choose our leaders.
Nothing against Harvard or Yale, or any of the other well known and well regarded institutions of higher learning, however, I like the idea of having a President with a different educational background than most Washington politicians. The Ivy Leaguers have had plenty of opportunities to lead, let’s give someone else a chance.
She Was the District Attorney of San Francisco.
I believe having experience in law enforcement is a big plus for a presidential candidate. Kamala Harris was the District Attorney for San Francisco. Being a District Attorney is no walk in the park. Being exposed to the seamy underbelly of our society, day after day after day, cannot be easy. Often, difficult decisions have to be made when none of the options are good. This kind of decision making experience is invaluable for a future President.
Of course, her opponent has vast experience with the American justice system, too. The difference is, he is a committer of crimes, while Kamala was a prosecutor of criminals. Big difference.
Kamala Harris could have had a long career with a well-to-do law firm, but she apparently has the public service gene. Good on her.
She Was Attorney General of California.
Being District Attorney for a big metropolis like San Francisco is an awesome responsibility. Well then, imagine being the Attorney General for the state of California, the most populous state in the Union. California has more people and a larger economy than many countries in the world. Kamala Harris did not fear the enormity of the challenge. I admire that.
She Was a United States Senator from California.
Having knowledge of how the legislative process works would be very valuable to a new President. It is challenging enough to get anything through Congress without knowing the ins and outs of how the place actually works. Kamala’s legislative experience can only help her in this regard. A few years ago, we had a President who had no governmental background of any kind. His main claims to fame were as a serial bankrupter of businesses and as the star of an insipid, unreality TV show. Remember what a disaster he was?
She is the Vice President of the United States.
Judging from some of the other side’s campaign commercials, evidently Kamala Harris has been the most powerful Vice President in American history. Their commercials make it seem as if she has held the reins of power for the last four years. They seem to have forgotten that Joe Biden has been the President. They seem to have forgotten that Vicc Presidents do not make policy or have any role other than as an advisor to the President. And, VPs serve as President of the Senate. That’s about it.
I have no problem with Harris’ opponents tying her to the Biden administration’s record. That’s fair. She has been part of it, so it’s her record, too. But, to claim that she is solely responsible for everything that has happened the last four years is inaccurate political hyperbole, to say the least.
Recently, in a post called Make the Correct Choice, I wrote this:
The accomplishments of the Biden/Harris administration sometimes get lost in the noise. They have done an excellent job bringing the unemployment rate down to nearly record lows, while the stock market has reached record highs. According to recent crime stats released by the FBI, crime is down in nearly every category. They have worked to rebuild America’s infrastructure. They have championed the increased use of renewable energy sources. Prescription drugs are much cheaper, due to their determined efforts. They have worked with our allies to rebuild confidence in America as a reliable global partner. And, they wholeheartedly support the rights of women to make decisions about their own bodies.
I would say the Biden/Harris administration has done a pretty good job, considering the mess that the previous occupant of the White House left for them.
Kamala Harris presumably has had a front row seat for everything that has transpired in the Biden White House, and, being a smart person, I’m sure she has an pretty good idea as to what has worked and what hasn’t. The knowledge she has gained will stand her in good stead when she ascends to the Oval Office.
She is a Woman.
It seems as though Kamala Harris has not wanted to make a big deal about being the first woman president. But, it is a ginormous, history-making deal. There have been 45 men who have served as President, (Grover Cleveland served two separate terms), and zero women. It’s about goddamned time for a woman to lead our country. I’m looking forward to it.
Kamala Harris is not “Him”.
I hate to say this, but for many of us voters, the biggest argument for Kamala Harris is that she is NOT her convicted felon opponent. I think she is eminently qualified to be President, and that she will do an excellent job. However, in all honesty, I would endorse anyone over the incoherent fascist scumbag who is running against her.
I have lived through wars, assassinations, recessions, riots, societal upheavals, natural disasters, man-made disasters, and terrorist attacks. I cannot think of anything that has been worse for our country, than when that bloated, spray-tanned jackass descended on the escalator in one of his shitty buildings nine years ago.
We cannot have four more years of the total hell he will put this country through again. This election has nothing to do with politics. It is the clearest example of right vs. wrong there could possibly be. And, it would be way wrong to vote for a convicted felon, Putin-lover, sexual assaulter, lying liar, misogynist, piece of shit criminal. So, don’t do it.
It fills me with great pride to announce The Storm. By Norm endorses Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election!

Do you have something to say about “The Storm. By Norm” Endorses Kamala Harris for President!” ? Well, then . . .
I like your shirt. I almost went to the Walz rally on Wednesday but decided I could not stand for hours outside and inside. A friend went and waited over 5 hours. He still didn't get inside the auditorium. He was in a waiting area outside. Go Kamala!!!
Mothers are woman, and always have been. Amazing that women are looked down upon as not being smart enough to run this Country. Most kids in my class that were A students happened to be girls, and turned out to be bright women...yet boys got the good paying jobs out of high school and were encouraged to go to College, unlike their sisters. Go figure. We were pretty much encouraged to work for men, as in secretarial, housekeeping, maid service. Whatever men didn't want to do, basically. Also don't see any men who might want to get pregnant and carry a baby for 9 months while their body changes shape. They would not have the courage. Women are courageous creatures, don't you think? When my boss was out of town, I knew where everything was in his office. I filed it....I typed most of it for the files. Women can type and answer a phone, both at the same time. Why is it so hard to accept that women are bright, intelligent people, for the most part. However, they seem to fit just fine in dumb blond jokes. Come on guys. Let a women get this country in civil order. Remember how your mom could whip up a meal for you? Or change your sloppy room into a suite at the Ritz by the time you got home from school? Heads up. Do the right thing while you all have the chance. The Queen was a woman. She did a darn fine job for many many years. Vote Blue! Vote Love and decency for your Country!! Vote for your Mom. Show her you love and respect her for what she stands for...being a woman and bringing you into this World.
